It has certainly been a reliable companion on many trips around the world. It's always difficult to change a winning team. But it's time to expand on our Aircontact legends. Our Aircontact models, which are already extremely durable, now have a more modern and slim appearance. And they're even more comfortable with new flexible Active Fit shoulder straps and revised hip flap construction. We added the new 70 + 10 SL model for female hikers.

SL Suitable for Women
On average, women's backs are not as long as men. For this reason, the SL carrying system is slightly shorter than Deuter's standard backpacks.
Aircontact System
The easiest way to carry heavy loads is for the backpack and the user to become one. Our Aircontact principle is this: The body contact system brings the weight closer to the body and thus centers the center of gravity. Thus, it provides full bag control and carrying load becomes more effective. In addition, our Aircontact cushions made of special hollow foam guarantee fantastic ventilation, with every movement creating a pump effect.
Active Comfort Fit

Excellent load transfer to the hip belt thanks to the adjustable and flexible multi-section aluminum X-frame. Offering a perfect fit, this product grips the back and waist and moves the load closer to the body's center of gravity, keeping it incredibly stable and well under control.

Thanks to open-cell foam technology, the air generated with every movement circulates through the bumpers at the back, continuing the ventilation in the back. USED MATERIALS
Material Ratio: Polyester: 20%/ Polyamide: 80%
1000D PA
Polyamide fabric is resistant to wear and tear. Used on the bottom panel of all large backpacks. The interior has 1000 denier yarn and a thick PU coating.
330D PA 6.6 TEAR RESISTANCE
Deuter Micro Rip 6.6 is a 330 denier nylon blend fabric that offers excellent tear resistance. The use of Nylon 6.6 makes the material very durable and sturdy. Waterproof thanks to PU coating (WC 2,000 mm). It is the perfect material for large bags such as the new Aircontact series.
* D means denier. Defines the weight of the yarn. For example; 600D weighs 600 grams at 9000 meters.
*PA means polyamide. PA fibers are extremely strong and wear-resistant. In addition, high elasticity and low weight are its distinguishing features.
* PU: Polyurethane coating (resistant to water permeability and fading).
