The Deuter Aircontact Core comfort backpack is versatile thanks to its modular equipment straps, which can be positioned to attach various items depending on your commitment or equipment needs. Superior carrying comfort comes courtesy of the Deuter Aircontact back system, which features Air Spacer mesh and a wide ventilation channel, along with ergonomic shoulder straps and an adjustable chest strap. The Y-shaped frame, along with movable hip fins that wrap around the hips and Deuter's ergonomic trapezoidal lumbar pad, work together to distribute and balance the load. 500D TEXTURED PA

235 D REC PA PLAIN bluesign®

D stands for denier. This refers to the yarn weight. 600D corresponds to 600 grams per 9000 meters.

PES stands for polyester. PES fibers are highly resistant to tearing and abrasion and virtually moisture-absorbing.

PA stands for polyamide. PA fibers are extremely durable and abrasion-resistant. They are also characterized by high elasticity and low weight.

Sustainability and Resource Saving

Our main material, yarn, is made from 100% recycled industrial waste and is certified according to recognized standards.

SL Women's Fit System

This model is also available in an SL version. The SL back length is specific to women: on average, women have shorter backs than men. For this reason, the carrying system on the SL model is slightly shorter than Deuter's standard backpacks. Furthermore, the carrying system is specifically adapted to the female anatomy.

Deuter AirContact System

The new Air Spacer mesh offers three functions in one: comfort, cushioning, and ventilation.

The backpacks' volumes can be optimized to the user's individual measurements, and features such as the VariSlide system's adjustable back length, the precision-fit VariFlex hip fins, and the adjustable ActiveFit shoulder straps make them particularly comfortable to carry.

PFAS-free

This product does not contain PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). PFASs have water, dirt, and oil-repellent properties, but they are persistent chemicals that are harmful to humans, animals, and the environment.

Instead, Deuter uses durable water-repellent finishes (DWR) that are harmless to human and animal health, environmentally friendly, and free of these "persistent chemicals."
