D stands for denier. This refers to the yarn weight. 600D corresponds to 600 grams per 9000 meters.
PES stands for polyester. PES fibers are highly resistant to tearing and abrasion and virtually moisture-absorbing.
PA stands for polyamide. PA fibers are extremely durable and abrasion-resistant. They are also characterized by high elasticity and low weight.

PFAS-free
This product does not contain PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). PFASs have water, dirt, and oil-repellent properties, but they are persistent chemicals that are harmful to humans, animals, and the environment.
Instead, Deuter uses durable water-repellent (DWR) finishes that are harmless to human and animal health, environmentally friendly, and free of these persistent chemicals.
