The Deuter Aircontact Core's superior carrying comfort and load distribution are based on the Deuter Aircontact back system with Air Spacer mesh and a wide ventilation channel, as well as comfortable shoulder straps, movable hip fins, and an ergonomic lumbar pad. A full-length, J-shaped zipper on the front allows for quick and easy access to items located lower in the main compartment. Removable 3-liter hip fin pockets provide extra storage and keep items within easy reach. A zippered 1.5-liter bottle holder also allows you to stay hydrated on the go. 500D Woven PA
235 D REC PA Plain bluesign®
D stands for denier. This indicates the yarn weight. 600D corresponds to 600 grams per 9000 meters.
PES stands for polyester. PES fibers are very resistant to tearing and abrasion and absorb almost no moisture.
PA stands for polyamide. PA fibers are extremely durable and abrasion resistant. They are also characterized by high elasticity and low weight.

SL Women's Fit System
This model is also available in an SL version. The SL back length is specifically designed for women: on average, women's backs are shorter than men's. Therefore, the carrying system in the SL model is slightly shorter than standard Deuter backpacks. Furthermore, the carrying system is specifically adapted to the female anatomy.

This product is PFAS-free (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). PFAS have water, dirt, and oil repellent properties but are persistent chemicals and harmful to humans, animals, and the environment.
Instead, Deuter uses durable water-repellent (DWR) coatings that are harmless to human and animal health, environmentally friendly, and free from these 'persistent chemicals'.
