175D PA Ripstop Ultra HD

D stands for denier. This refers to the yarn weight. 600D corresponds to 600 grams per 9000 meters.

PES stands for polyester. PES fibers are highly resistant to tears and abrasions and virtually impervious to moisture.

PA stands for polyamide. PA fibers are extremely durable and abrasion-resistant. They are also characterized by high elasticity and low weight.

The reduced contact area of ​​the Air Spacer mesh in the Aircontact back system creates greater back ventilation while reducing weight. Simple Clip & Loop back length adjustment and ergonomically shaped hip fins create a custom fit with superior carrying comfort over long distances.

Reduced to the essentials, this lightweight backpack expertly balances comfort and weight, so you can dedicate more energy to the trail. And its durable ripstop fabric made from performance fibers means this backpack can withstand anything you throw at it. The lid can be removed to shave off extra weight, using a drawstring and snap closure to close the main compartment.

Modular Gear Straps for Flexibility

The lid is removable, and the modular gear straps can be repositioned to secure various items depending on your task.

SL Women's Fit System

This model is also available in an SL version. The SL back length is specifically for women: on average, women have shorter backs than men. Therefore, the carrying system on the SL model is slightly shorter than Deuter standard backpacks. The carrying system is also specifically adapted to the female anatomy.

PFAS-free

This product is free of PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). PFASs are water, dirt, and oil-repellent chemicals that are harmful to humans, animals, and the environment.

Instead, Deuter uses durable water-repellent finishes (DWR) that are harmless to human and animal health, environmentally friendly, and free of these persistent chemicals.
