Deuter Futura 30 Liter SL Outdoor Backpack
The Deuter Futura 30 is a lightweight, technical Futura SL hiking backpack designed specifically for women. With a shorter back, narrower shoulder straps, and tapered hip fins, the Futura SL creates a secure, secure fit around the back and hips. The new-style mesh in the Aircomfort back system creates maximum airflow across the back for athletic walking. The flexible mesh front pocket is great for venting wet clothes on the go (for example, after a quick dip in a mountain stream).

600D PES
Woven from 600-denier polyester yarn and featuring a thick PU coating, this tear-resistant and lightweight fabric is extremely versatile. When it comes to keeping the backpack's weight as low as possible with moderate stress, it's the ideal solution. The "Deuter Super Polytex BS" version is manufactured in accordance with the stringent bluesign® standard. Its properties and stress factors are identical.
D stands for denier. This refers to the yarn weight. 600D corresponds to 600 grams per 9,000 meters.
PES stands for polyester. PES fibers are highly resistant to tears and abrasion and virtually impervious to moisture.
PA stands for polyamide. PA fibers are extremely durable and abrasion-resistant. They are also characterized by high elasticity and low weight.

Active Comfort Fit
For the best fit, the backpack should rest as much as possible on the back. This ensures even distribution of the carrying weight. The Active-Comfort-Fit back system supports carrying comfort with its stable and padded structure.
Reduced Sweating
Reduced Sweating: The mesh back system maximizes ventilation and reduces sweating on the trail. Pivoting ActiveFit shoulder straps and ergonomic hip fins (with a Pull-Forward system) further enhance carrying comfort.
SL Women's Fit System
This model is also available in the SL version. The SL back length is specific to women: on average, women have shorter backs than men. Therefore, the carrying system on the SL model is slightly shorter than Deuter standard backpacks. Furthermore, the carrying system is specifically adapted to the female anatomy.
Deuter Aircomfort System
When it comes to small to medium-volume backpacks for use on easier terrain, maximum ventilation is our guiding principle. The flexible core of the Aircomfort systems is a steel frame with permanent elastic springs. The special airy mesh ensures constant tension, even under heavy loads, creating a ventilation space between the backpack and the back where moist air can evaporate freely.

50% of the yarn is made from recycled raw materials. This can save 12% of greenhouse gases.
PFAS-free
This product is free of PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). PFASs have water, dirt, and oil-repellent properties, but they are persistent chemicals that are harmful to humans, animals, and the environment.
Instead, Deuter uses durable water-repellent finishes (DWR) that are harmless to human and animal health, environmentally friendly, and free of these persistent chemicals.
