Deuter Futura Pro Materials
210D PA RECYCLED
SUSTAINABLE: 50% of the yarn is made from recycled raw materials. Its main material is made of bluesign®-certified material.
210D PA RECYCLED
600D PES
Woven from 600-denier polyester yarn and featuring a thick PU coating, this tear-resistant and lightweight fabric is extremely versatile. When it comes to keeping the backpack's weight as low as possible with moderate stress, it's the ideal solution. The "Deuter Super Polytex BS" version is manufactured in accordance with the stringent bluesign® standard. Its properties and stress factors are identical.
D stands for denier. This refers to the yarn weight. 600D corresponds to 600 grams per 9,000 meters.
PES stands for polyester. PES fibers are highly resistant to tears and abrasion and virtually moisture-absorbing.
PA stands for polyamide. PA fibers are extremely durable and abrasion-resistant. They are also characterized by high elasticity and low weight.
Deuter Futura Pro Details
Comfort Carrying
The deuter Aircomfort Sensic Pro system, featuring movable VariFlex ECL hip fins and body-hugging, swiveling ActiveFit shoulder straps, allows for comfortable carrying of medium-weight loads with minimal load swing and minimal effort.
More Energy
The airy mesh back system maximizes airflow across the back, allowing hot air and moisture vapor to evaporate quickly, enhancing performance.
Organized System
ORGANIZED: The transparent compartment design (covered compartment, side zippered gusseted pockets, separate lower compartment, and spacious main compartment) keeps contents organized and neat.
SL Women's Fit System
This model is also available in an SL version. The SL back length is specific to women: on average, women have shorter backs than men. Therefore, the carrying system on the SL model is slightly shorter than Deuter standard backpacks. The carrying system is also specifically adapted to the female anatomy. Learn more about our fits.
Deuter Aircomfort System
When it comes to small- to medium-volume backpacks for use on easier terrain, maximum ventilation is our guiding principle. The flexible core of the Aircomfort systems is a steel frame with permanent elastic springs. The special air mesh maintains constant tension even under heavy loads, creating a ventilation space between the backpack and the back where moist air can evaporate freely.
50% recycled
50% of the yarn is produced from recycled raw materials. This can save 12% of greenhouse gases.
PFAS-free
This product is free of PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). PFASs have water, dirt, and oil-repellent properties, but they are persistent chemicals that are harmful to humans, animals, and the environment.
Instead, Deuter uses durable water-repellent finishes (DWR) that are harmless to human and animal health, environmentally friendly, and free of these persistent chemicals.
Wandermagazin Test Belt
The test win (and "very good") goes to the Deuter Futura Pro 34SL and its men's counterpart, the Futura Pro 36, thanks to their overall excellent and well-thought-out features and excellent wearing comfort. (Hiking Magazine)
