300D PES

Polyester (PES) is a synthetic fiber and is based on raw oil. Ripstop fabrics are woven using a specific technique and are particularly tear-resistant. A special texture allows the feel and shine of natural fibers to be mimicked. The result: By using 300D PES RIPSTOP, our products are particularly robust and also have a natural look.

600D PAS

Woven from 600 denier polyester yarn and a thick PU coating, this tear-resistant and lightweight fabric is versatile. When it comes to keeping the weight of the backpack as low as possible with moderate stress, then this is the ideal solution. The “Milk Super Politex BS” version is manufactured according to the strict bluesign® standard. Its properties and stress factors are the same.

Denier: A unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weighs 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and generally heavier) the material.

PES: Polyester fibers are highly tear and abrasion resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.

PA: Polyamide fibers are particularly durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subjected to high stress.

REC: The material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.

BS: The material is produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.

This product is manufactured by Deuter without the use of per-acid and polyfluorocarbon chemicals, aiming to reduce reliance on substances harmful to the environment and health.

PFAS is used as a waterproofing coating due to its water, dirt, and grease repellent properties, among other things.

Deuter now uses an environmentally friendly DWR (Surable Water Street) coating that is harmless to human and animal health.
