Deuter Race Air Materials
100D REC PA HT BRIGHT
Lightweight and durable polyamide fabric. High yarn density provides exceptional durability. The ripstop structure is designed as a honeycomb structure, giving the fabric a distinctive appearance.
D stands for Denier, a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weighs 600 grams. The higher the value, the stronger (and generally heavier) the material.
PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly resistant to tearing and abrasion, are easy to maintain, and absorb very little moisture. PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are particularly durable, elastic, and lightweight, making them ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
REC stands for Recycled; the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
BS stands for bluesign® certified; the material is produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner according to the bluesign® standard.

The proven Aircomfort back system is specifically designed for cycling. The centrally divided mesh back panel ensures less of the pack is in direct contact with the back. It also provides more space for the rounded spine in the riding position. Ventilated mesh hip fins, perforated shoulder straps, and back padding ensure maximum airflow, even during sweaty runs.

PFAS-Free
This Deuter product is manufactured without the use of perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals. This reduces the use of substances harmful to the environment and health.
PFAS, with its water, dirt, and oil-repellent properties, are used as a coating for rain protection, among other things.
Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless and environmentally friendly.
