> D stands for Denier—a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means 9,000 meters of yarn weighs 600 grams. The higher the value, the stronger the material (and generally heavier).
> PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are extremely tear and abrasion resistant, easy to maintain, and absorb very little moisture.
> PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are particularly durable, elastic, and lightweight—ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
> REC stands for Recycled—the material is made entirely or partially from recycled sources.
> BS stands for bluesign® certified—the material is produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner according to the bluesign® standard.

The bluesign® product uses body fabric and components produced using environmentally friendly, resource-efficient production practices. It meets the Green Button standard, is ClimateParnter certified, is PFAS-free, and is a clear statement of our commitment to sustainability.

This running hydration vest's garment-like fit and specialized breathable stretch fabric ensure a secure fit with zero bounce. The adaptable bungee sternum closure allows for quick, precise adjustment of tension with full breathability at all intensity levels. Further modular bungee cords can be used for additional compression at the sides, effectively completing the seamless comfort of this vest, which offers unrestricted movement on the trails.

Four easy-access pockets on each shoulder strap provide clear organization and quick access to water bottles, energy bars, cell phone, etc. Rear storage pockets allow for quick refilling of the water bladder and quick storage of the jacket. The main compartment has space for extra layers or a windbreaker. There are also multiple storage options for folding walking sticks while keeping them at the ready.

SL Women's Fit
This model is also available in an SL version. The SL back length is specific to women: on average, women have shorter backs than men. Therefore, the carrying system on the SL model is slightly shorter than Deuter standard backpacks. The carrying system is also specifically adapted to the female anatomy. Learn more about our fits.

Made without PFAS
This Deuter product is manufactured by us without the use of perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals. This reduces the use of substances that are harmful to the environment and health.

PFAS are used as a coating for rain protection because they repel water, dirt, and oil, among other things.

Instead, Deuter now uses a DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless and environmentally friendly.
