Deuter Wash Center Lite Materials

75D PA

D stands for Denier—a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weighs 600 grams. The higher the value, the stronger (and generally heavier) the material.

PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear and abrasion resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.

PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nyon). Polyamide fibers are particularly durable, elastic, and lightweight—ideal for textiles subject to high stress.

REC stands for Recycled—the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.

BS stands for Bluesign® Certified—the material is produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner according to the Bluesign® standard.

PFAS-Free

Produced without polyfluorinated chemicals. This reduces the use of substances harmful to the environment and health.

PFAS are used as a coating for rain protection because they have water, dirt, and oil-repellent properties, among other things.

Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Sustainable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is both health- and environmentally friendly.
