The Scarpa Boostic is designed for technical face climbing, where support is crucial for consistent micro-edging. The asymmetrical, downward-curved shape with a medium-to-high angled toe box is combined with a curved Flexan insert for unrivaled edging performance.

Scarpa Boostic Features

Upper: Multi-panel microfiber upper with an Alcantara oversized toe panel for optimal custom fit. A high-flexibility boot provides easy entry, and a dual-strap closure system provides support.

Footboard: Cleverly contoured, curved 1mm Flexan insert for support and precision.

Football: A 3.5mm XS Edge full-length sole provides additional arch support for stability and superior edging performance.

Active Ranging: The DTS active ranging system provides tension at two different strengths on each side of the foot. This torque helps direct force toward the big toe, further enhancing the asymmetrical shape. The PAF System is an innovative heel system that helps both distribute the force of heel tension and improve heel fit.

V Tension System

The V-Tension system supports the arch and forefoot, increasing toe traction. This tension rubber wrap is paired with a full sole unit and therefore eliminates the need for rear straps. It works in the same way as the X-Tension to maintain optimal foot position for small toeholds.

PAF System

The PAF is an innovative heel system that helps both distribute the force of heel tension and improve heel fit. To reduce pressure on the Achilles tendon, the aggressive tension rubber is cut behind the heel and connected to a softer rubber that acts like a bridge and conforms perfectly to the shape of the heel. Perforations on the lateral side of the heel indicate the applied tension, varying between 1 hole for light tension, 2 holes for medium tension, and 3 holes for strong tension.
