PCB Tension Active Rand
The PCB-Tension system is SCARPA's most minimalist, designed with grip and precision in mind. The Power Anchor Band, perfectly adapted to work with the SRT system, provides complete freedom for the foot by reducing the layers around the foot and minimizing the distance between the foot and the sole rubber pad.
Circumferential Rubber Tension
SRT is a layer of our ultra-soft M50 rubber that wraps around the forefoot, transferring force directly to the tips of the toes. It also provides maximum friction and sensitivity for toe hooking. Climbing in soft shoes improves one's climbing style and naturally strengthens toe strength. The complete freedom of foot placement encourages faster and more dynamic movement on rock or plastic.
Upper: Multi-Panel (7) Microsuede Upper Construction for Unparalleled Fit and Performance
Midsole: Flexan 1.0 Midsole for Precise Support
Tension: PCB-Tension Active Rand Provides Lightweight Power Transfer
Outsole: Vibram XS Grip 2 Makes These Shoes Stick Like Glue
Scarpa Drago Technologies
M50 Rubber
M50 is our softest rubber compound that optimally conforms to the natural curves of the foot and toes. The 50-point design is perfect for use in our SRT system, toe patches, and strategic placement around the shoe upper.
PAF System
PAF is an innovative heel system that helps both distribute the force of heel tension and improve heel fit. The aggressive tensile rubber is cut behind the heel to reduce pressure on the Achilles tendon and is connected to softer rubber that acts like a bridge, conforming precisely to the shape of the heel. The side holes indicate the applied tension, varying between 1 hole for light tension, 2 holes for medium tension, and 3 holes for strong tension.
PCB Tension System
The PCB extends over the arch to dynamically connect the forefoot and heel, distributing force from the toes throughout the foot. Paired with the "midsole-free" construction, the result is a collection of the most responsive performance shoes we've ever created.
SRT Surround Rubber
The Surround Rubber Tension is a layer of our ultra-soft M50 rubber that wraps around the forefoot, transferring force directly to the tips of the toes. It also provides maximum friction and precision for toe hooking.
